Complaints Policy

In the unlikely event of a dispute we would urge you to call us to discuss is together. If we are unable to resolve your complaint as a result of the telephone call, we will ask you to submit it in writing to help@mediatelegal.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days, and then review it and provide a formal response within 21 working days. Very occasionally we may need more time – if we do we will inform you at the earliest opportunity and the reason why.

If the complaint is against a particular Mediatelegal panel mediator, the complaint will be investigated by another panel mediator or Mediatelegal employee. If a complaint results in disciplinary action being taken against a Mediatelegal employee or panel mediator you will be advised of the outcome.

We are confident that, working together, we will be able to resolve any complaint received. If we are unable to resolve your complaint we will refer you to the Civil Mediation Council’s Complaints Resolution Service. Details of the CMC’s appeal processes can be found here.

Mediatelegal will retian records of any complaints received.
