Jonathan Dingle FRSA
Jonathan Dingle is a leading international mediator and arbitrator, having spent 3 decades promoting mediation. Mediation Achiever of the Year in the 2009 and 2016 UK Personal Injury Awards, Jonathan Dingle received numerous other awards and accolades for his contribution to the mediation profession. He has mediated more than 800 cases including construction, personal injury, complex clinical negligence cases, complex commercial matters, costs disputes and high value sports contracts.
Believing passionately in the benefits of mediation, in 2001 Jonathan Dingle began attempts to create what became the Civil Mediation Council in 2003. From 2003 Jonathan was appointed as Honorary Secretary of the United Kingdom’s Civil Mediation Council, and he remained in that post for eight years. As a leading international mediator Jonathan Dingle has played a major role in influencing judges, practitioners and stakeholders on the benefits of mediation.
You may recognise the name Jonathan Dingle as he has authored several books on the subject of mediation, most recently A Practical Guide to Mediation. Jonathan is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (South Africa) and of the Society of Mediators.
He has performed numerous mediation and arbitration training courses in Europe and internationally.
He has been described as “the epitome of a modern international mediator who brings a relaxed style and razor sharp mind to every mediation”.
Establishing his law firm in 2009, Joseph Mulrooney has gained a wealth of experience in: shareholder disputes, workplace disputes, commercial litigation, high value personal injury, contested wills, and property disputes. As a mediator Joseph is based in Liverpool and has mediated disputes involving local authorities, private healthcare providers, construction firms, limited companies, neighbours, estranged couples, and landlords/tenants. Joseph also enjoys a voluntary role as Non-Executive Director at Knowsley Youth Mutual, Knowsley Chamber of Commerce, and is also a Trustee of The Society of Mediators.

Dominic Collis has gained 25 years’ experience in a commercial environment, 20 years of which have been at a senior level. With his stellar commercial background he mediates both construction and commercial disputes. Having chaired over 200 to date, Dominic has developed a specialism in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities mediation cases (SEND).
Dominic Collis is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Management Institute, a Professional Member and Trustee of the Society of Mediators, and an Independent Student Assessor for graduates undertaking Mediation Exams.
Howard Nulty brings a wealth of experience. A solicitor for 35 years, a Director of a building company, and a UEFA B licenced football coach and referee!. Howard has mediation experience of commercial disputes, boundary disputes, personal injury disputes, family, and landlord and tenant matters, will and probate disputes and professional negligence cases. Howard has spent a large part of his professional career dealing with costs issues and has worked as a costs draftsman.
He has a keen interest in providing mediation in sports and costs disputes.
Patrick Waterhouse is a chartered engineer whose practice specialises in commercial contracts dispute resolution. He has acted as mediator in disputes up to £10m in value in a range of industries and professions. He is also a construction adjudicator working on disputes connected with building works, infrastructure and utilities.
Andrea is a public access accredited Barrister with more 20 years’ experience in civil, commercial, clinical negligence, and costs litigation. She is an accredited mediator and has provided training internationally in conflict management and mediation to such organisations as the United Nations and UPeace.
As a solicitor Ken Salmon has specialised over the last 30 years in construction and property related construction issues, covering all types of building and civil engineering projects across all industry sectors. Always a supporter of amicable dispute resolution he has regularly represented parties in mediation and continues to do so.
Ken Salmon qualified with CIArb as a mediator in 2007 and has since conducted over 30 mediations. He is enthusiastic about the benefits of mediation and other similar forms of ADR. He has experience of facilitative and evaluative mediation has conducted both time limited and telephone mediations.
Called to The Bar in 1982 Paul Kirtley has enjoyed a highly successful career as a Barrister. In 2004 Paul qualified as a mediator and is now recognised as one of the leading names in the mediation market. Paul has performed over 50 mediations including high value commercial disputes, workplace discrimination cases, negligence cases, property disputes, and personal injury cases.
Called to the Bar in 1989, and specialising in high value employment disputes for the past 20 years, Seamus Sweeney is vastly experienced in this field. As a barrister his specialism is in employment disputes, however Seamus will also mediate civil and commercial disputes. Described as having “a splendid combination of charm, intellect and lightness of touch”, Seamus can help parties to resolve the toughest of disputes.
Zoey White has been an accredited mediator for over 10 years. When acting as mediator, Zoey is able to draw upon her wide-ranging experience from her legal work, her 10 years acting in the Magistrates Courts, and her extensive commercial experience working within the legal and insurance industry and also acting as Director of several companies.
Zoey also spends time providing mediation accreditation and CPD training courses across the UK on behalf of The Society of Mediators.
