It is crucial to have the right mediator helping you to resolve your dispute. All of our mediators must be experienced, CMC registered, and a ‘good fit’. Our panel mediators, including Jonathan Dingle and Joseph Mulrooney, are vastly experienced and well respected by fellow professionals.

All of our panel mediators are available on our fixed fee rates for civil and commercial mediations:-

4 hour mediation – £750 + VAT per party

6 hour mediation – £1125 + VAT per party

8 hour mediation – £1500 + VAT per party

Jonathan Dingle FRSA

Jonathan Dingle

Jonathan Dingle is a leading international mediator and arbitrator, having spent 3 decades promoting mediation. Mediation Achiever of the Year in the 2009 and 2016 UK Personal Injury Awards, Jonathan Dingle received numerous other awards and accolades for his contribution to the mediation profession. He has mediated more than 800 cases including construction, personal injury, complex clinical negligence cases, complex commercial matters, costs disputes and high value sports contracts.

Believing passionately in the benefits of mediation, in 2001 Jonathan Dingle began attempts to create what became the Civil Mediation Council in 2003. From 2003 Jonathan was appointed as Honorary Secretary of the United Kingdom’s Civil Mediation Council, and he remained in that post for eight years. As a leading international mediator Jonathan Dingle has played a major role in influencing judges, practitioners and stakeholders on the benefits of mediation.

You may recognise the name Jonathan Dingle as he has authored several books on the subject of mediation, most recently A Practical Guide to Mediation. Jonathan is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (South Africa) and of the Society of Mediators.

He has performed numerous mediation and arbitration training courses in Europe and internationally.

He has been described as “the epitome of a modern international mediator who brings a relaxed style and razor sharp mind to every mediation”.

Joseph Mulrooney

Establishing his law firm in 2009, Joseph Mulrooney has gained a wealth of experience in: shareholder disputes, workplace disputes, commercial litigation, high value personal injury, contested wills, and property disputes. As a mediator Joseph is based in Liverpool and has mediated disputes involving local authorities, private healthcare providers, construction firms, limited companies, neighbours, estranged couples, and landlords/tenants. Howard Nulty

Howard Nulty brings a wealth of experience. A solicitor for 35 years, a Director of a building company, and a UEFA B licenced football coach and referee!. Howard has mediation experience of commercial disputes, boundary disputes, personal injury disputes, family, and landlord and tenant matters, will and probate disputes and professional negligence cases. Howard has spent a large part of his professional career dealing with costs issues and has worked as a costs draftsman.

Andrea Barnes

Kenneth Salmon

As a solicitor Ken Salmon has specialised over the last 30 years in construction and property related construction issues, covering all types of building and civil engineering projects across all industry sectors. Always a supporter of amicable dispute resolution he has regularly represented parties in mediation and continues to do so.

Ken Salmon qualified with CIArb as a mediator in 2007 and has since conducted over 30 mediations. He is enthusiastic about the benefits of mediation and other similar forms of ADR. He has experience of facilitative and evaluative mediation has conducted both time limited and telephone mediations.

Matt Fedigan

specialises in Commercial, Civil, Construction, Professional Negligence, & Property disputes

Matt Fedigan

Matthew is an experienced accredited mediator and has undertaken post-graduate training and qualifications in legalistic areas of practice and risk mitigation including alternative dispute resolution (Adjudication, Arbitration and Mediation). In addition, Matthew is often instructed as an independent expert and expert witness and regularly undertakes related roles such as expert determination, contract solutions and delay analysis, high value dilapidations and settlement claims, neighbourly matters including all areas of boundaries and access matters and building defect claims as well as safety and environmental enforcement actions advice.

Matthew regularly briefs and works alongside appointed counsel via direct access in relation to high value property actions. Matthew regularly accepts direct instructions to represent clients in respect of construction and property related disputes as a party representative. Matthew has developed professional specialities in an array of commercial construction and property law related areas of practice as well as related academic research.  Matthew is currently undertaking an academic PhD in construction and property law and construction related alternative dispute resolution with Liverpool John Moores University.

Tarun Ghosh

Tarun Ghosh

Tarun has been working closely with SEND Mediation since the 2014 Reforms, having practised as a SEND practitioner since 2002. Tarun comes from a public sector career background where he has served as Head of SEND & Inclusion. He has significant experience in SEND Mediations, Disagreement Resolutions and Appeals to First-Tier Tribunal (SEND). He has also contributed in SEND Accredited Training courses in different areas of the country. Tarun works at an expert level in SEND. He has experienced the challenges of navigating the ‘world of SEND’ and is determined to help others safely navigate the complexities, legalities, and procedures they face. He believes strongly that the voice of the CYP should be the loudest and most important voice.

Tarun is a member of several mediation organisations, including the Civil Mediation Council. He has experience of mediations in the areas of Civil and Commercial, Workplace and Employment, SEND, Neighbours and Community, Landlords and Tenants, and Charities.

Serena has worked as a mediator since 2008, alongside a thoroughly rewarding career as a solicitor specialising in marine and shipping litigation. Serena now works as a full-time mediator and having evolved a very wide-ranging practice, is enjoying working alongside clients throughout the UK. Stephanie Miers

Stephanie has worked in civil litigation since 2008, acting for both Claimants and Defendants and has a wide range of experience dealing with an array of civil disputes with a particular interest in housing law. As a solicitor Stephanie has witnessed first-hand the stress, expense and time experienced by many of her clients who have been embroiled in a legal dispute with another party. This inspired her to qualify as a mediator in an effort to find a better way of dealing with conflict. Stephanie’s wealth of experience in the legal sector enables her to work productively and effectively as a mediator and she is equipped to deal with individuals, companies or public bodies. She is passionate about alternative dispute resolution and genuinely believes that mediation should be sought at the first opportunity when there is conflict between two or more parties.
